Caring Awards

From nominations submitted to the Foundation, the Board of Directors selects each year two individuals to receive Caring Awards at the Foundation's annual Caring Awards Dinner. One of the awardees must be a member of First Plymouth Congregational Church. Awardees are selected based upon the nature and extent of the services they have rendered to one or more charitable or non-profit organizations that seek to address the needs (usually social service) of the community. Unlike many non-profit dinner events, the Caring Awards Dinner is not a fund raising event. In recognition of an awardee's service to the community, the Foundation makes a gift to the non-profit organization of the awardee's choice.

Listed below are the names of the recipients of the Foundation's Caring Awards together with the names of the organizations selected by the awardees for a Foundation grant.
